Seasonal Housekeeping Attendant
Join AAC as a Housekeeper and become an integral part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our members and their guests. We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence. This seasonal position begins in May and ends in mid-September.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage: $15.00
- Enjoy a holiday rate of 1.5 times normal pay on Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day
- Complimentary meals are provided in our team member dining room while on duty

Schedule
- Hours are either 7:30 am - 12:30 pm or 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. These shifts could vary based on the needs of the Club and include nights, weekends and holidays
- Seasonal Part-Time (15-20 hours/week)
Essential Job Functions
- Perform duties in alignment with the mission and values of the Atlanta Athletic Club
- Dust furniture, light fixtures, artwork, and other surfaces as needed
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, including showers; replenish supplies as necessary
- Vacuum and mop all floors throughout the club, including dining areas
- Sweep patio areas and dust patio furniture regularly
- Empty all trash receptacles throughout the facility
- Clean and polish brass fixtures as required
- Report any maintenance issues such as damage, burnt-out bulbs, or plumbing problems to the Housekeeping Manager
- Polish glass surfaces, tables, counters, and door handles
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects assigned
- Transport linens to and from the or laundry room
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing
- Knowledge of proper maintenance and cleaning techniques for a variety of building surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions for the safe and appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience especially in hospitality, clubs, or similar environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic English Communication Skill for reading labels, instructions, and safety information
