Job summary

The Little Nell in Aspen seeks a skilled Bartender to mix and serve beverages with 5-star guest service. You will oversee liquor security, checks, and cash, contributing to a premium bar experience under the Bar Manager.

This seasonal full-time role reports to the Bar Manager and participates in the resort’s iconic hospitality program. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be 18+, and ideally hold TIPS certification with experience in Forbes 5-Star standards.

Qualifications

• TIPS trained or certified is required.
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Forbes 5-Star standards and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Offer guests recommendations of drinks to complement food items.
• Know menu item origins, preparations and ingredients for accurate recommendations.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Complete beverage and general supply requisitions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and inform management of feedback.
• Monitor intoxicated guests and communicate with management.
• Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed.
• Reset area and keep bar organized before/after service.
