Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Security Officer in Tucson, AZ. You will monitor the premises, respond to incidents, and maintain a safe environment while engaging with employees and guests.

You will work 9–12 hour shifts, earn $22 per hour, and participate in training. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, an Arizona Guard Card, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Arizona Guard Card.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Wage: $22.00/HR

9 - 12 Hour Shifts

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be available to cover holidays.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
