Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager at Santa Monica Place to lead a team during peak season. You will support the Local Manager with daily photo operations, sales and training for seasonal staff, ensuring magical guest experiences.

The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. You’ll help with opening-day prep, inventory, scheduling, and guest services to deliver memorable Santa visits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable in a cash handling/sales transaction position.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently and make sound decisions.
• Availability for required pre-season training.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
• Minimum 20 hours per week or as needed.
• Able to lift and carry equipment up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment aligned with company values.
• Assist opening-day preparations including hiring, inventory, scheduling, and training.
• Capture photos and help guests select memorable souvenirs.
• Resolve customer concerns to maintain a positive guest experience.
• Lead by example and reinforce procedures set by senior management.

• Assist with schedule, recruiting, and other administrative tasks.
