Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Silicon Valley is hiring for a holiday service position supporting the Food & Beverage team. You will work at the restaurant, assist servers, prepare drinks, and help ensure an outstanding guest dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Management team, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Spread holiday cheer in a fast pace environment
• Assigned stations are subject to change daily
• Must be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Season to end in mid-January, but there may be opportunity to stay on as part of the Four Seasons Silicon Valley Family
• Assists the Server in clearing and resetting the tables according to the restaurant standards
• Assists the Server in providing an enjoyable expertly served dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness
• Performs side work such as polishing silverware, refilling the condiment containers and crumbing the tables as needed
• Prepare drinks
• Ability to work in cold weather and outdoor
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America - work authorization document
• Standing and walking all throughout shift
• This position requires an applicant with general food knowledge. Candidates must have good personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Must be flexible with schedule – Able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Ability to carry and balance a tray
