Job summary

Botanical Designs in California is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Installation & Production Technician to build wreaths, trees, garland, and seasonal props under designer direction and client specifications. The role averages about 40 hours per week with overtime and Thanksgiving weekend work.

You will assist with warehouse prep, install live and artificial decorations at commercial sites, and help meet quality and budget standards.

Qualifications

Creative design ability and eye for visual presentation.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to follow written, verbal and visual instructions.
Experience in design, holiday decorating, lighting, or related field preferred but not required.
Basic artistic ability; lighting experience a plus.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Construct holiday décor and props (trees, wreaths, garland, arrangements).
Assist with warehouse prep, organization, and material staging.
Install live and artificial decorations at commercial sites (interior/exterior).
Follow design instructions to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Complete projects within labor budgets and timelines.
Work well in a team and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
Minimize material waste and maintain cost-conscious practices.
Keep work areas and equipment organized and in good condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.
