Job summary

The City of South Bend seeks seasonal guest services staff for the ice arena and recreation facilities. You will greet guests, process payments, assist with skate rentals, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age.
• Requires interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
• Must be able to work various shifts which include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Certification required (training provided if not certified).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the admission window and assist with payments.
• Assist with skate rental, cleaning, and return of equipment.
• Register guests using software and provide correct change.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety, including snow shoveling.
• Respond to emergencies and administer First Aid/CPR when needed.
