Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is seeking a Seasonal Guest Services Associate to greet visitors and assist with admissions, gift purchases, and café needs, delivering excellent guest service in the gift shop and admissions areas. This position has a tentative start as early as September 7, 2026 and an end date of January 3, 2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years' relevant retail experience preferred.
• Must be RAMP and ServSafe Food Handler certified within the first 2 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet the public from inside the Conservatory and assist with admissions and gift purchases.
• Assist patrons with gift-buying and café purchases.
• Provide information on shows and events by phone and in person.
• Maintain cleanliness of admissions and gift shop areas.
• Sell memberships and prepare paperwork for the Membership department.
• Track questions asked by patrons for future reference.
• Perform data entry and operate the cash register.
• Handle visitor questions, complaints and problems.
