Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. in Portage, MI is hiring a Store Support Teammate to help create an enjoyable shopping experience for Guests. You will greet customers, process transactions with the POS, and stay informed on promotions and policies while supporting merchandising tasks and store upkeep.

This role requires a friendly attitude, ability to work varied shifts including holidays, and a commitment to Buckle’s ethics and customer service standards. Knowledge of security practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak shopping days.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to complete guest transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Monitor security risks and assist with loss prevention.
• Assist merchandising tasks such as displays and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and answer questions about store and merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet store needs, including peak days.
• Process guest transactions using POS software and bag purchases.
• Stay informed on promotions, payments, exchanges, and security practices.
• Recognize and respond to security risks and thefts.
• Assist in merchandising tasks and display setup.
• Keep store clean, organized and shoppable.
• Follow Code of Ethics and company policies.
• Support mission by delivering high guest service and teamwork.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
