Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Knowledge and skill to operate grounds equipment safely.
• Experience with trenchers, tractors, rototillers and other power-driven grounds equipment.
• Knowledge and ability to install and maintain irrigation equipment.
• Ability to work independently or in teams.
• Knowledge of safe handling of fertilizers and pesticides.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform maintenance of exterior landscapes, including gardening, planting, tree care, and playing-field upkeep.
• Repair and maintain irrigation systems and grounds-maintenance equipment.
• Manage erosion control, pest management, and exterior fire-prevention projects.
