Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a grounds maintenance worker to maintain lawns, landscapes, and grounds on campus facilities in Orange, CA. Under supervision, you will mow, rake, edge lawns, trim bushes and trees, and keep equipment in good repair.

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Senior Superintendent of Plant, incumbent mows, rakes, and edges lawns, trims bushes and trees, and cleans up debris as required. Incumbent is also responsible for the care and maintenance of tools.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:

• One year of experience in grounds maintenance or gardening; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license
• Must be available to work alternate work schedules and overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Employment contingent upon completion of satisfactory background investigation. Position is subject to the California DMV's "Pull Notice System" and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
