Job summary

Rocky Point Golf Course in Essex, MD is seeking several seasonal Groundskeepers for the remainder of the 2026 Golf Season. The role involves routine manual labor in golf course maintenance under the supervision of the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.

Responsibilities include operating mowers and string trimmers around greens, rakes bunkers, maintaining equipment, assisting in greens, tees and sod work, and performing other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand power tools preferred.
• Ability to operate light motorized equipment.
• Able to follow oral and written directions.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers and string trimmers around greens and hazards.
• Maintain equipment fuel levels and report issues to supervisor.
• Return equipment to designated locations and clean maintenance areas.
• Mark the course for cart control and assist with course maintenance tasks.
• Assist in building greens, tees and fairways and lay sod as directed.
