The City & Borough of Juneau Parks & Recreation Department is seeking a full-time seasonal Groundskeeper Assistant to join the Landscape Maintenance Division. The Groundskeeper Assistant will support mowing, planting, and general landscape maintenance for Juneau's parks and facilities.

Ideal candidates are willing to perform outdoor labor in various weather, learn to operate hand and power tools, and join a team focused on beautifying public spaces.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License required at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Mow and weed, weed whipping, and perform lawn care in CBJ parks and facilities.
• Prune, plant, deadhead, mulch, water, and perform general cleanup.
