Job summary

ServiceSource in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Technician to keep NGA West Base grounds clean, neat, and compliant with contract specifications.

You will perform mowing, edging, planting, pruning, and winter maintenance while delivering courteous service to visitors and staff. This role requires operating a range of grounds equipment, maintaining turf, performing inspections, and assisting in seasonal tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state certified equivalent required.
• Must gain and maintain NGA site access.
• Must successfully pass HSPD-12 background check.
• Previous grounds experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, prune, and trim plants; maintain beds and vegetation along fences and grounds.
• Provide grounds maintenance and quality inspections year-round.
• Cut grass around trees, shrubs, beds, buildings, parking lots, signs, and obstacles.
• Operate, inspect and maintain mowers, trimmers, edgers, snow/leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, spreaders, and similar equipment.
• Assist in seasonal grounds maintenance per contract specifications.
• Maintain turf by watering, fertilizing, weeding, mowing, and trimming; support vegetation health.
