Job summary

ServiceSource is seeking a grounds maintenance professional to ensure NGA West Base Operations is kept clean and meets contractual requirements. You will provide courteous, timely service and maintain equipment to a high standard.

You will perform seasonal grounds tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and turf care, while observing safety and access controls. This role requires reliability and physical ability for outdoor work at NGA facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state certified equivalent.
• Must gain and maintain NGA site access.
• Must successfully pass HSPD-12 background check.
• Previous grounds experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, prune, and trim plants; maintain plant beds; weed control; fence line vegetation control.
• Provide grounds maintenance and quality inspections for the contract on a year‑round seasonal program.
• Operate, inspect, test, maintain, and repair stand‑on mowers and other seasonal maintenance equipment.
• Assist in seasonal grounds maintenance and ensure turf health through watering, fertilizing, weeding, and mowing.
• Transport debris and maintain or repair tools and equipment as required.
• Perform snow and ice removal from parking lots and walkways.
