Job summary

Anderson Construction Company of Fort Gaines is seeking a seasonal landscape technician to perform a variety of grounds maintenance tasks on government properties in Bainbridge, GA. You will operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and edgers, trim hedges, prune shrubs and trees, and plant or water landscapes.

The role requires following safety rules and assisting in repairs on occasion. The season runs March 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026; schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM,

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
• Minimum of one year related experience.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds of government property such as buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields.
• Cut grass using mowing equipment and trim hedges and edges around walks and flowerbeds.
• Prune shrubs and trees to shape growth using hand tools.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs and water lawns during dry periods.
• Assist in repair of roads, walks, buildings, and mechanical equipment.
• Follow oral instructions and all safety standards.
