Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is hiring a Landscaper/Groundskeeper at Useless Bay Golf and Country Club on Whidbey Island. This seasonal role runs through late December 2026 with potential extension for weather and course needs. Earn $19.50–$21.50 hourly, with perks and employee benefits described below.

Responsibilities include maintaining grounds, safe operation of tools, and completing work orders while upholding club standards and a culture of exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• General understanding of landscaping.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Willingness to work weekends and some weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the landscaping grounds and other general upkeep.
• Ensure the security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance and repair of all department tools, equipment and safety features are in accordance with procedures.
• Keep work spaces clean and orderly; store tools and spare parts properly.
• Properly care for tools and equipment used to perform tasks.
• Complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Report and address unsafe conditions immediately.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Maintain the landscaping grounds and other general upkeep.

• Reports and addresses unsafe conditions immediately.
• Other tasks as assigned.

What You Bring

• This position will require work on the weekends in addition to some weekdays
• Must have a general understanding of landscaping.
• Must have knowledge and the ability to operate tools, hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations
