Job summary

National Western Stock Show is hiring a Seasonal Graphic Design Coordinator in Denver, CO. This on-site hourly role supports high-volume creative for National Western, The Legacy, and the 2027 Stock Show, building production-ready assets across print, digital, social, and events.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Creative Services, you’ll maintain brand consistency and meet tight deadlines while sharpening production skills. Begin ASAP through January 25, 2027, with on-site work five days a week.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of graphic design experience, including internships or freelance work.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with Express/Canva/Figma is a plus.
• Portfolio showing clean layout, typography, and cross-format consistency.
• Experience producing assets for print, digital, and social media.
• Understanding of print production basics: CMYK vs RGB, bleeds, resolution.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; can handle competing deadlines.
• Openness to feedback and ability to apply it quickly.
• Ability to follow established creative direction and brand standards.
• Interest in Western lifestyle, sports, events, or agriculture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build finished assets from approved concepts for print, digital, social, and events.
• Extend layouts and imagery to new formats while preserving original direction.
• Adapt art for print ads, posters, flyers, social graphics, banners, and emails.
• Make quick revisions based on feedback from the Sr. Manager – Creative Services.
• Resize and version assets for multiple sizes and placements.
• Prepare print-ready files to vendor specs with bleeds and color profiles.
• Export digital assets to platform specs for paid media, social, email, and web.
• Perform basic photo retouching and color correction; support simple motion graphics.
