Job summary

National Western Stock Show in Denver, CO is hiring Seasonal Event Staff to help with event setup and teardown, janitorial work, and general maintenance. This is a physical, on-site role requiring stamina and teamwork.

Candidates must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to work long shifts during stock shows (Jan 9–24). Wages are $19.80 per hour with paid sick time and shift differentials; all offers are contingent on background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and moving continuously.
• Previous experience with event setup, janitorial work, or general maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to completing tasks.
• Fluent in English, with clear verbal communication abilities; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and teardown of events, including arranging equipment, furniture, and signage to create an inviting and organized event space.
• Perform janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal, to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all guests.
• Complete general maintenance tasks as needed, such as minor repairs or facility upkeep.
• Ensure a safe and orderly environment, following all company and event policies, and promptly addressing any hazards.
• Work primarily on your feet with frequent lifting, bending, occasionally outdoors and in varied weather conditions.
