Job summary

MKC seeks a front counter associate to assist customers, answer phones, weigh and probe trucks, test grain, and enter data into the scale system. You will input sales into the POS, balance the cash drawer daily, monitor fuel inventory, and ensure accurate deposits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with two years of college accounting or equivalent experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Knowledge of seed, feed, and fuel products and store inventory.

Responsibilities

• Run the scale, probe grain trucks, test grain, and input information into the Point of Scale system.
• Input feed and counter sales transactions into the Point of Sale system.
• Balance cash drawer and deposits daily.
• Wait on walk-in customers promptly and answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous tone.
• Work with customers to resolve problems and report unresolved issues to management.
