Job summary

The Scoular Company is seeking a motivated scale operator to join our team and contribute to safe, reliable supply chain solutions for our customers. The role involves weighing trucks, coordinating with production, data entry, and customer service in a fast-paced grain environment.

You should be able to stand for long periods, handle phones, and work with basic office computer systems. We offer a stable, inclusive workplace with seasonal scheduling flexibility during harvest.

Qualifications

• Experience using a keyboard and navigating computer screens.
• Ability to handle standard office phone calls.
• Scale/grading equipment experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for long periods.
• Dependable attendance and flexible scheduling for harvest season.

Responsibilities

• Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks and direct them to loading/unloading areas.
• Communicate with the production team to keep operations running smoothly.
• Enter customer and commodity information into a tracking system.
• Collect grain samples by probing incoming trucks.
• General housekeeping duties for the scale room and office.
• Greet customers and visitors while providing superior customer service.
