Job summary

The DeLong Co., Inc. seeks a Grain Scale Operator for a full-time seasonal role in Minooka, IL. You will handle scale operations, customer service, basic grain accounting, and sampling tasks while ensuring accurate data recording and friendly service at the counter.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extra hours during peak harvest. A high school diploma is required and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service at the counter.
• Manage inbound and outbound grain shipments.
• Grade grain and identify foreign materials.
• Record test data and moisture/weight information.
• Coordinate delivery numbers and verify accuracy.
• Operate on-scale interface system and transfer data.
• Respond to customer inquiries and support office tasks.
