Job summary

Alcivia in Kentucky is seeking a reliable Seasonal Grain Operator to support harvest-season grain handling operations. The role involves receiving, unloading, and loading grain from trucks and railcars, grading, and ensuring safe storage during peak periods.

You will operate conveyors, augers, and related equipment, perform routine inspections, keep accurate records, and assist with housekeeping and basic maintenance. Competitive seasonal pay with overtime during peak harvest.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak harvest seasons.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and load grain from trucks and railcars.
Operate grain handling equipment, including conveyors, legs, augers, and related machinery.
Assist with grain sampling, grading, and quality control procedures.
Monitor grain conditions and storage facilities.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
Accurately complete required documentation and records.
Assist with additional operations and facility tasks as assigned.
