Job summary

Alcivia is seeking a reliable Seasonal Grain Operator to support daily grain handling during harvest. Responsibilities include receiving, grading, storing and loading grain, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The role covers work at several locations including Evansville, Cottage Grove, Fall River, Burlington and Whitewater. Weekend and overtime during peak harvests are common; physical effort and adherence to safety policies are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak harvest seasons.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.
• Safety-focused with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and load grain from trucks and railcars.
• Operate grain handling equipment including conveyors, legs, augers, and related machinery.
• Assist with grain sampling, grading, and quality control procedures.
• Monitor grain conditions and storage facilities.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and procedures.
• Complete required documentation and records.

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Seasonal Grain Operator to support daily grain handling operations during harvest and peak seasonal periods. This position is responsible for receiving, grading, handling, storing, and loading grain while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and load grain from trucks and railcars.
• Operate grain handling equipment, including conveyors, legs, augers, and related machinery.
• Assist with grain sampling, grading, and quality control procedures.
• Monitor grain conditions and storage facilities.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and operational procedures.
• Accurately complete required documentation and records.
• Assist with additional operations and facility tasks as assigned.
