Job summary

Legacy Coop in Alliance, Nebraska seeks a seasonal grain lab technician to support and administer the grain scale/lab, delivering outstanding customer service and helping the cooperative run efficiently.

The role focuses on operating scales, grading equipment, providing grain bids and yields information, and upholding cooperative policies while ensuring safety and accuracy. Excellent communication with customers and team is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Grain grading certification or course completion is required.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and cooperate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck scales, grain prob and grading equipment at one or multiple locations.
• Operate grain loading and unloading equipment at multiple locations.
• Provide customers with requested information including grain bids and proof of yields.
• Promote the image of the cooperative.
• Uphold cooperative policies, perform other duties as assigned by management, and will enforce and uphold the cooperatives credit policy.
• Maintain lab equipment and grain lab.
