Job description

Under general supervision, this position will perform daily maintenance functions for the golf course grounds, including the 18-hole Chaska Town Course, practice facility, maintenance buildings, and grounds surrounding the clubhouse and entrance road to the course, as well as occasionally the Par 30 nine-hole course.

1. Operates triplex greens mower, walk-behind greens mowers, push mowers, and weed whips.
2. Operates utility vehicles, mechanical bunker rake, and other motorized golf course equipment.
3. Uses small electric and battery-powered hand tools.
4. Performs general maintenance on equipment.
5. Available for weekend duty throughout summer months.
6. Loads and unloads materials and supplies.
7. Cleans and maintains facilities.
8. Services tees, rakes bunkers, lays sod, shovels topsoil, performs topdressing and bunker sand application.
9. Supervises staff on special projects.
10. Performs other related work as required or assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must obtain a valid MN Driver’s License.
• Experience with light equipment.
• Available to assist in emergency situations or as needed.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
