Job summary

Kenton County Golf Course (a Troon-managed property) in Independence, KY, is seeking a part-time Guest Service Attendant for a seasonal role (6 months or less). You will support guests and members across golf operations, delivering courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

No long experience required; a valid driver's license is needed. The position offers healthcare and retirement benefits along with eligibility for a service charge, and you will join a global leader in golf and community

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cleans golf carts for play following the standards of Kenton County Golf Course
• Performs range maintenance, including setting up and maintaining range and chipping green presentation, maintaining range ball inventory, picking up range balls, and cleaning them
• Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area
• Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning
• Maintains the cart storage area and cart washdown area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
• May direct the start of play, which includes assisting in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy, speed of play, and similar guidelines
• Cleans golfers' clubs upon completion of play
• Completes daily project list
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings
• Services customers renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return; maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs
• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot
• Assists with food and beverage activities
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as required
