State of Indiana, INDOT Central Office, Materials & Test, Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Seasonal Geotechnical Engineering Assistant. The role supports field and laboratory geotechnical activities, including radar and plate load tests, while maintaining project documentation and data.

Includes strong MS Office use and task-based office support, with field checks and photo documentation. Seasonal, 180-day limit, hourly pay of $20.00. Apply via the Indiana State Personnel Department.

Qualifications

• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience supporting geotechnical field activities.

Responsabilités

• Document (plans, shop drawings, geotechnical reports) search for the Contract request for information.
• Assist in geotechnical laboratory testing and field checks, including photos and visual quality inspection.
• Incidental office tasks: scanning, printing, photocopying, cleaning equipment, organizing.
• Assist with vetting, execution and updating geotechnical construction testing.
• Assist with product lists and project databases.
