Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/geotechnical engineering.
• Ambition to obtain EIT and PE.
• The ability to learn how to perform field evaluations of project sites.
• Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing with GME Testing personnel and Clients.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and contribute to a diverse range of tasks in the field, laboratory, and within the office.
• Conduct field and laboratory studies within the geotechnical and materials division.
• Progress into performing QA/QC field observations while work is in progress following design reports and documents, collecting samples using a gauge to determine moisture density content, and delivering samples for laboratory testing.
• Progress into performing engineering calculations, analysis, and report preparation.
• Maintain quality standards on all projects.
