Job summary

Big Tex Trailer World in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a General Laborer to organize and present the outdoor trailer and product areas. Responsibilities include unloading freight, assembling trailers, and supporting service and maintenance duties with a focus on customer service to support store sales and service activities.

The role requires fast-paced, hands-on work, willingness to work across areas of the lot, or shop, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Available to work Monday–Saturday and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers
• Park and move trailers
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery
• Help customers hook-up trailers and perform safety inspections
• Maintain lot (mowing, weed removal, trash, signs)
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies
• Support Service Technicians as needed
• Open/close store as directed
• Clean and organize store and support areas
• Other duties as assigned

Summary

The General Laborer is responsible for the organization and presentation of the outdoor trailer and product areas. Maintains the appearance of the lot, unloads, receives freight. Assembles trailers and assists with service and maintenance duties as directed. Provides customer service in support of store sales and service activities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assemble trailers
• Park and move trailers
• Wash and prepare trailers for delivery.
• Help customers hook-up trailers. Perform visual safety inspection (lights, safety chain, decking, etc.)
• Maintain lot including but not limited to mowing, weed removal, snow removal, picking up trash, installing exterior signs, banners, or flags.
• Receive and stock trailers, parts, and supplies.
• Support Service Technicians as needed.
• Support opening and closing of the store as directed.
• Clean and organize store and support areas as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Must be available to work Monday - Saturday and overtime as needed
