Job summary

GameStop Corp. in Florida seeks a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis, delivering outstanding guest service while participating in buy, sell, trade, and reservation activities during peak season.

You will greet guests, assist with gaming needs, keep the store clean and well merchandised, stock shelves, and help the team reach sales and inventory goals. Availability for peak season days, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with their video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensuring products are well-presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, escalating issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and adhere to safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
