Job summary

GameStop is seeking a seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak periods, focusing on sales, store maintenance, and guest service in a fast-paced holiday environment. This is a short-term, seasonal role aligned with GameStop's Circle of Life model.

You will greet guests, assist with gaming needs, stock shelves, keep areas clean and merchandised, and help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous retail or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with their video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Support shopping environment including visual and operational aspects; contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and transferring products from stock room to floor; ensure products are presented and alphabetized.
• Aid the team in meeting sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices; be aware of scams and adhere to safety practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethics.
