Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak sales days, focusing on sales, store maintenance and customer service in a fast-paced gaming retail environment.

You will greet guests, recommend products, keep shelves tidy, assist with stocking, and help meet sales and shrinkage goals while following store policies. Availability during holidays, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with their video gaming needs, and recommending items during every transaction.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented and alphabetized on the selling floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
