Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short‑term basis during peak shopping periods. You will focus on sales, guest service, store maintenance, and completing tasks to keep the sales floor well-presented and inviting.

You will greet guests, recommend items, assist with buy/sell/trade activities, handle questions, and escalate issues to a keyholder as needed while upholding store policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best‑in‑class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Support the shopping environment, visuals, and store initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure items are well presented.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions/concerns promptly and escalate issues to a keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies including attendance, confidentiality, and ethics.
