Job summary

GameStop Corp. in the United States is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak shopping days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service, delivering friendly, knowledgeable help to guests while following the Circle of Life model.

You will greet guests, recommend products, restock merchandise, and help meet sales and loss-prevention goals. The role requires flexibility, the ability to stand for long periods, and strong English communication

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Recommend additional items and complete transactions with selling behaviors.
• Support shopping environment and store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Stock and restock merchandise, ensure presentation and organization on the floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures including attendance and confidentiality.
