Job summary

Haffner's is seeking a delivery driver to safely and efficiently deliver fuel oil, diesel, propane, and related products. You will support meter readings, fleet maintenance, and customer service while working closely with the Distribution Manager/Operations Manager.

The role requires a CDL Class A or B with hazmat/tanker endorsements, a DOT medical certificate, and the ability to operate in varied weather and schedules. Compensation reflects hourly pay between $27 and $35.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of petroleum or propane delivery experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
• Valid DOT medical certificate.
• Ability to pass company-provided drug test, alcohol test, and physical.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts.
• Experience with regulatory agency requirements (DOT, HazMat, OSHA, FMCSA).
• Proficient in the use of Android tablets and fleet software.

Responsibilities

• Delivers distillates and propane safely and efficiently as directed.
• Performs return-to-service tasks including leak checks and relighting.
• Maintains daily communication with the office staff and managers.
• Inspects and maintains delivery trucks and completes paperwork.
• Supports safety meetings and suggests process improvements.
• Follows safety gear usage and company safety strategies.
• Provides customer service support for delivery issues as needed.
• Assists with off-season tasks such as fleet reconditioning and meter reading.
• Executes other duties as assigned by management.
