Job summary

Haffner's is seeking a delivery driver to ensure the safe, efficient delivery of fuel oil, diesel, off-road diesel, gasoline, and propane. You may assist in meter readings and fleet maintenance during slower periods. Expect to work under DOT/HazMat guidelines and maintain strong office communication.

This role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and customer service, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and participate in regular safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver distillates and propane safely and efficiently as directed, following all safety and company rules.
• Perform return-to-service tasks, including leak checks and relighting appliances.
• Maintain timely communication with office staff and managers.
• Inspect and maintain delivery trucks and paperwork, registrations, and insurance.
• Log and report deliveries and customer payments accurately.
• Participate in safety and operations meetings and suggest process improvements.
• Follow safety strategies and use PPE as required.
• Provide customer service support for delivery matters, in person or via team.
