Job summary

Haffner's is seeking a delivery driver to safely and efficiently transport energy products, including fuel oil, diesel, gasoline, and propane. The role involves meter reading, fleet maintenance support, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities include propan e/ oil deliveries, paperwork accuracy, and collaboration with the office and distribution managers. A Class A/B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required, along with the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
• 3+ years petroleum or propane delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to pass company drug, alcohol, and physical tests.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts.
• Experience with regulatory requirements (DOT, HazMat, OSHA, FMCSA).
• Proficient use of Android tablets and web-based software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver distillates and propane safely and efficiently as directed by the distribution office.
• Perform return-to-service duties including leak checks, relighting appliances, and priming/starts.
• Maintain communication with the office and management; provide accurate reports and customer payments.
• Inspect and maintain delivery trucks, conduct pre-trip inspections, and manage paperwork and records.
• Participate in safety and operations meetings and contribute to process improvements.
• Assist in off-season tasks such as fleet reconditioning and meter reading.
