Job summary

Total Wine & More in Colorado is seeking a courteous cashier who can process transactions, answer questions, and promote loyalty programs. This role may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser based on store needs.

You will engage customers, learn product knowledge through training, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while ensuring accurate transactions and compliance with alcohol sale regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years of experience in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, informing about loyalty programs and bagging products.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers and building relationships.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store and ensure regulatory compliance when selling alcohol.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
