Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a friendly Cashier in Houston to deliver fast, accurate checkout and a positive guest experience. You may also serve as sales associate or merchandiser as needed.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, answering questions, and promoting the loyalty program while staying informed about promotions. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification, payment handling.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and comply with alcohol sale laws.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
