Job summary

Total Wine & More in Delaware is hiring a part-time Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service at the register and on the floor. You’ll process transactions, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and help maintain store standards.

You will join a team that values knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, safety, and compliance with alcohol regulations. Previous retail and POS experience is preferred, with availability evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and promote loyalty program and services.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions and store policies.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience to customers.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and ensure compliance with alcohol laws.
