Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking a friendly Seasonal Cashier to provide fast, accurate checkout experience and customer support in Greensboro, NC. You will handle transactions, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and ensure products are bagged correctly while maintaining store standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail, familiarity with POS systems, and flexibility including evenings/weekends. Training on wine, spirits, beer, and promotions completes eligibility for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Answer customer inquiries and promote the loyalty program.
• Bag products and ensure correct item handling at the checkout.
• Greet customers and provide a personalized service experience to build relations.
• Assist in training and maintain knowledge of promotions and store policies.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and follow alcohol sale regulations.
