Job summary

Cranmore Mountain Resort is seeking an energetic Seasonal Freestyle Program coach to develop young athletes and deliver a safe, engaging learning environment on weekends and during vacation weeks from December through March.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, with coaching to Park SMART and PSIA standards. Candidates should have USSA/PSIA credentials, a current USSA Coach Membership, and a valid driver's license, with willingness to pursue Level 2 credentials.

Qualifications

• Two years of coaching experience minimum; up to five years preferred.
• Experience with USSA/PSIA programs preferred.
• Current USSA Coach Membership and USSA Freestyle Level 1 certification required; Driver's license required. Willingness to obtain Level 2 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach athletes according to Park SMART and PSIA standards.
• Develop and implement training curriculum and athlete development plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with athletes and families; communicate schedules and travel requirements.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through PSIA and USSA certifications.
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor for athletes.
• Promote safety, sportsmanship, and guest service excellence.
• Ensure equipment is safe and maintained; follow SNOWSPORTS School procedures.
