Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Port Reading, NJ, is seeking a Seasonal Forklift Driver for the 1st shift. You will operate a forklift to move, stack, and count merchandise, and may perform order filler and checker duties.

Responsibilities include unloading inbound shipments, inputting data into WMS, maintaining organized work areas, and ensuring accurate, damage-free shipments. Safety and quality are emphasized in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE including forklift.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations using a forklift.
• Input data accurately into WMS and maintain organized work areas.
• Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring correct quantities are loaded and shipped.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Keep records and reports to maintain tight inventory control.
