Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity? Primo Brands is seeking a Seasonal Production Technician to support customer demand. This full-time role during our "busy season" varies each year. If you're interested in earning extra income, please read on.

Factory Location: Hollis, ME

Compensation: $27.49/hour
Shift differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate for applicable hours
Available Schedules:

  • Day shift: Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Night shift: Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am
  • Night shift: Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate a forklift safely to move raw materials or finished products for warehouse storage or distribution.
  2. Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy sources for lifts.
  3. Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on palletizing equipment.
  4. Conduct hourly quality checks and inspect goods and pallets.
  5. Maintain quality, inventory, and preventative maintenance documentation.
  6. Use scanning equipment for accurate inventory tracking.
  7. Collaborate with team members to prevent line stoppages and improve operations.
  8. Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety and GMP standards.
  9. Monitor equipment downtime, output, and key metrics.
  10. Achieve performance goals related to pallets, labor, line loading, and truck turnaround.
  11. Coordinate with production, warehouse, quality control, and maintenance teams.
  12. Cross-train for other lift activities as needed.
  13. Provide vacation coverage for team members.
Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  2. Valid driver’s license with no recent major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
  3. Pass drug screening and MVR check.
  4. At least 2 years of forklift experience with a strong safety record.
  5. Experience in manufacturing, preferably in food or beverage industries, with GMP knowledge.
  6. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management systems (SAP preferred).
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  8. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  9. Ability to lift/move 50 lbs multiple times during a 12-hour shift.
  10. Willing to work holidays and weekends.
  11. Comfortable working in a warehouse with temperature variations.
