Round Barn Estate is seeking dependable, energetic Food Truck Line Cooks to join our fast-paced culinary team in Baroda, MI. This part-time seasonal role focuses on quick, consistent cooking in a high-volume food truck environment.

The ideal candidate works well under pressure, values food quality, and collaborates with the hospitality team. Must be available weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak seasonal periods to support busy service times.

Qualifications

• Prior line cook, food truck, restaurant or similar culinary experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and safe food handling.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills.
• Dependable, positive, and able to follow established recipes and procedures.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, evenings and peak seasonal periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock cooking stations before service.
• Operate grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Maintain speed and accuracy during high-volume service.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, temperature, and portion consistency.
• Prep ingredients including vegetables, proteins, sauces, and other menu components.
• Communicate effectively with fellow cooks, food runners, and hospitality team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures.
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout service.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and assigned side-work responsibilities.
