Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Seasonal Food and Beverage Supervisor for the Hamptons locations, Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach and The Hills in East Quogue. The role runs from April 1, 2027 to October 31, 2027, with potential for future opportunities and visa sponsorship discussions.

You will assist the F&B Director and Manager, manage daily operations, support guest services, and ensure high standards of service, safety, and quality across outlets.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs.
• Knowledgeable of wines and beverages.
• Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service.
• Know how to work in a team and have a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
• Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Required to work indoors and outdoors.
• Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than eight (8) hours.
• Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull. May be required to lift and carry items, sometimes over fifty (50) pounds.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer.

Responsibilities

• The Food and Beverage Supervisor will support the Food and Beverage Director and Manager in effectively managing the restaurant and outlets through observance, teamwork, and ensuring floor presence.
• Attend and initiate department meetings as necessary.
• Assist with member or guest issues and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Maintain understanding of menu items and beverage pairings.
• Ensure quality control and daily procedures are followed.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels across F&B outlets.
• Receive, stock, and inventory outlet deliveries.
• Oversee opening/closing checklists and cleanliness standards.
