You will greet guests warmly, guide through the menu with deep knowledge, take and relay precise orders, and serve with flawless timing and discretion in a high-end setting.

Qualifications

• Previous server or front-of-house experience preferred; luxury or fine dining experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally at their tables, reflecting the Bergdorf Goodman brand and service standards.
• Guiding guests expertly through the menu, demonstrating deep knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and premium beverage pairings.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring seamless communication with the kitchen and bar staff regarding dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Serve courses with precision, timing, and impeccable tableside etiquette to ensure optimal dining flow.
• Accommodate special guest requests, VIP clients, and styling patrons with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
• Monitor tables continuously to ensure guest comfort, proactively clearing courses and refilling beverages without prompting.
• Process payments efficiently, accurately and handle guest inquiries with supreme courtesy and poise.
• Support opening, running, and closing side work duties to maintain a pristine, elegant dining room.
