Job summary

Lakeside Foods invites you to join our Plainview field team as a Seasonal Field Scout/Sampler for the 2027 season. From mid-June to mid-October, you will visit harvesting sites to count populations and spot weeds, insects and disease, and pretest product for harvest timing.

As a seasonal employee, you will also help assess field access driveways and map field locations for harvest. Prior experience is not required; a valid driver's license and good driving record are required.

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

Do you like to work outdoors? Then our field sampler position is the job for you. From Mid-June to mid-October, our field samplers are responsible for visiting our harvesting sites to take population counts, identify weeds, insects and disease, as well as pretesting product from the field for harvest timing.

This position will also assist with assessment of field access driveways and mapping out field locations for harvest.

Prior experience not required. Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

Pay Range

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour based on education and experience.
