Lakeside Foods Inc. in New Richmond, Wisconsin, invites motivated students to join as Agricultural Field Scout Interns for Summer 2027.

You will support the Field department by helping ag managers assess snap bean growth, count plants, and identify weeds, diseases, and insects in growing fields. You’ll also assist with pretesting field samples to gauge harvest timing and help map field locations for pesticide applications and harvest crews.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Seasonal position from May through September.
• Experience in agricultural fieldwork is a plus.

Responsabilités

Lakeside Foods is looking for Seasonal Field Scouts from the end of May through September (estimated timeframe).

The Field Scouts will assist Ag Managers in assessing snap bean growth, taking population counts, ID weeds, ID disease, ID insects and all damage caused by such. Will also be responsible for pretesting product from field locations to assess for harvest timing along, mapping field locations for pesticide application & harvest crews.

MUST HOLD A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE AND HAVE A GOOD DRIVING RECORD.
